Mr. Georgios Triantafyllou is a European Project Management professional mainly in the fields of education and culture with a work history at both national and European level. More specifically he worked as Project Assistant and Project Officer at the Lifelong Learning Platform (a pan-European network of Civil Society Organisations active in all fields of education) in Brussels for two years. He was largely involved in the management, coordination and implementation of all LLLP’s projects and also in the conceptualisation, preparation, development and drafting of new project proposals for EU funds (Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, etc.). He also has significant experience in large-scale events organisation (LLL-AGORA, Annual Conferences, annual LLLWeek – in and around the European Parliament) and in the development, compilation and design of studies, publications and communication/dissemination materials. He also worked as a Project Officer at EURASHE (European Association of Higher Education Institutions) in Brussels, where he was responsible for the development of a platform of best practices from across Europe regarding the role, quality and access to professional higher education. Georgios holds a BA in Cultural History from the Open University of Cyprus and has attended numerous seminars and trainings on project management, communications, international relations, EU policy, integration of digital tools in education and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Last but not least, he has many years of work experience in the private sector through his involvement in the management of a touristic business, the Green Village hotel, in the town of Xylokastro, Greece. As of November 2017, he works at Science View where his tasks and responsibilities include the coordination, management and implementation of European projects as well as the development and drafting of new project proposals for EU funds.
